Finnegan's Bookstore will host award-winning author Roger L. Conlee.
Roger will discuss his novels at the bookstore, located at 723 S. Clark, Utica, IL on April 10, at 1:30 p.m. Finnegan's is located within site of the Illinois River and Starved Rock State Park.
His book COUNTERCLOCKWISE is a tale of war, spies, time travel, and a Southern California few could know or imagine. A place beyond space and time. Did squadrons of Japanese planes attack Los Angeles with a devastating air raid during World War II? And could a man do something about it fifty years later?
Roger, who lives in San Diego, is a longtime journalist, author and public relations professional. Raised in Galesburg, IL, his work has won awards in the alternative history/science fiction realm as well as in military history.
