Vlasic, IHLA Chairman and Director of Operations, Kimpton Hotels, Chicago has managed Kimpton hotels in San Francisco, Chicago, Aspen, Denver and Salt Lake City. Most recently, he was General Manager of the Sir Francis Drake Hotel of San Francisco. Prior to his current seven and a half year tenure with Kimpton, Mr. Vlasic was with Grand Heritage Hotels International for nine years in Estes Park, CO, Bandon by the Sea, OR, San Diego, CA and Aiken, SC. He has served for more than three years as a Board Member, Secretary, Vice Chair and Chairman of IHLA. Mr. Vlasic is the recipient of the following awards: IHLA's 2003 Hotelier of the Year, 2003 Bill Kimpton Award and the 2005 Kimpton Leadership Award. He has also served as 2007 Treasurer of IHLA's Educational Foundation and served for four years as a board member of the Chicago Central Area Committee.

Under Mr. Habeeb's leadership FHG has gained industry wide recognition for its cutting edge employee programs and impressive record for successful development of award winning hotels. He is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of high profile, multi-unit experience in hotel, resort and food and beverage management. He is the former COO of the U.S. resort subsidiary of London's Rank Group, PLC where he was responsible for a multifaceted portfolio of hotel, restaurant and leisure businesses. Mr. Habeeb is a member of the adjunct faculty of Chicago's Roosevelt University, where he teaches at the graduate level in the Manfred Steinfeld School of Hospitality Management. He is a frequent contributor to hospitality publications and serves on numerous industry and academic boards and advisory councils.

Gordon, President & CEO, Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association, joined the Hotel-Motel Association of Illinois in December of 1997 as President & CEO. Under his leadership, the Association which has represented the lodging industry since 1910, changed its name to the Illinois Hotel &Lodging Association in April 2001. The Association is comprised of approximately 450 hotel members representing over 75,000 hotel rooms and 150 allied member companies. Mr. Gordon has more than 30 years of management experience in the hospitality industry, previously serving as senior director for the Educational Foundation of the National Restaurant Association, whose revenue grew from $2 million to more than $16 million during his tenure. In May 2007, Mr. Gordon became President of the Executive Alumni Board for the School of Hospitality Management at Michigan State University. Mr. Gordon has served on the Board of Directors of the Parkinson's Disease Research Society and on the Board of Buffalo Grove High School's Choral Guild. He current serves on Advisory Committees for Roosevelt University and Kendall College in Chicago.
